Camper Preparation

Dear “1st Week of Summer” and “Junior Academy” Soccer Campers/Parents,

We all hope you have had a fun and productive academic year and we are all very excited for our camps in Henniker on the campus of NEC in June and July. This information is meant to make sure you are fully prepared on what to bring to make sure you have the best possible experience.

Everyone will be receiving a camp t-shirt. We will provide watermelon as a mid-morning snack for all campers and popsicles for the full-day campers at the end of the day. We will provide water thoughout the day and will have some cups.  We are also very pleased that our lunch location is indoors in a cool area out of the sun.

Below is a list of some other things you will want to have with you.

1) Please wear comfortable athletic clothes. You will need socks, shinguards, and cleats.
2) Please bring sneakers/flats for walking indoors for lunch and some possible indoor play.
3) Please bring a ball with you as well if possible. We will have extras if necessary.
4) Please bring a lunch and water bottle.

And email with any last minute details will be sent out about a week prior to the start of each week of camp.  For now, you should know the registration tables will be set up next to the baseball field when you drive down the dirt road to the grass “Laurie Cox” fields at NEC. This road is off of Western Avenue about 100 yards past the elementary school.  There will be a sign at the top of that road to help with anyone looking for where to turn.

We are looking forward to a great summer and we are excited for every camper to have a great experience.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,

Dave DeCew – New England College Men’s Soccer Coach
